I. TITLE OF THE PROJECTS: APPLYING IOT TO REAL-TIME PRODUCTION
MANAGEMENT WITH SYSTEM (ANDON)
II. OBJECTIVES
1. Initial figures
• Exploring Wireless Networks and Communication Protocols
• Research and explore the literature on Zigbee communication.
• Research and study documents about ESP32, ESP32-C6 microcontroller.
• Arduino IDE programming compiler.
• Build a website using the Node – RED platform to monitor and report on
system parameters and Andon signals through computer and mobile devices.
2. Implementation Content
• Establishing and construction of Andon model using Zigbee communication.
• Andon system includes End Devices, Routers and Coordinator.
• The monitored machine parameter data and Andon signals will be transmitted
from End Devices to Routers then to Coordinator, then transmit data from
Coordinator to Website through MQTT.
• Using Node-RED to build a website interface, helping to monitor the system

remotely through computer and mobile phone.
3. Expected products.
• The Andon system, built on Zigbee technology, consists of 02 Andon End
Devices, 02 Andon Routers, and 01 Andon Coordinator.
• Andon End Devices will send data to Andon Coordinator though Zigbee waves,
and data will be sent to the web through Wifi.
• Develop a website that enables intuitive and easy monitoring of the system,
allowing system oversight from anywhere by mobile devices or computers.

CONCLUSION AND FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROJECT
- Only monitor machine operation through load without actual sewing
machine to perform accurate monitoring.
- Use many available modules to build the model.
- The current system only supports notifications through a single channel
(e.g., SMS), which limits the accessibility and responsiveness of users
across different platforms.
5.2 Future development of the project
The research topic has many limitations, hence its future development
directions are still numerous and diverse, such as:
- To reduce dependency on separate modules, you might explore
integrated solutions, such as using boards like ESP32 that support
multiple functions, minimizing the need for additional modules.
- Multi-channel notification system: Extend notification capabilities
beyond just the website to mobile apps, email, or even factory displays,
ensuring that information is received in a timely manner.
